We (thats the "we " who took the photos on these 10 pages) stayed the Friday and Saturday night of the Long Grom 2008 weekend at the Lancelin Lodge.
It was a great place with such a friendly atmosphere. In fact the whole town was very friendly and helpful. We just had to take some photos, of course!

Come and visit Lancelin - there's more things to do here than you realise, and the people are glad to help out where they can

On the Saturday evening, there were some guys sitting on the grass with their guitars, playing tunes softly - great effort guys! - while another couple were playing board games at the outdoor table. People just "doing their thing" with respect for others. Very friendly bunch staying there when we were there.

Oh now this kitchen needs a mention! HUGE and very clean. Jamie Oliver and a couple of other chefs / cooks, could cook up a storm in there at the same time. Its got everything you'll ever need for a quick snack or a feast for 6 or so (at least I think thats how many we saw feasting on the Friday night)

I'll have to be honest here - we were so busy the whole weekend that we never got to use the pool. But we did make plans to visit again soon, now that we know a little more about what Lancelin has to offer. That pool is going to get some use from us, I can tell you. Nice shady spots too, we noticed. And the beach volley ball court is just over the fence.

Plenty of room to enjoy your meals or snacks here. We managed to do the usual - watch a bit of TV while eating - just like home. Lots of magazines to read too - oh, and free tea, coffee and sugar. Bring your own milk and food - lots of room in the fridges, etc and no one had any problems with honesty - even with really tempting goodies!

Oh yeah.... we are going to have to visit that pool...
